Design and operations within NCAA athletics

Served as Graduate Assistant and Director of Operations for Coastal Carolina University Men’s Soccer while completing an MBA.

As a member of the NCAA Division I coaching staff, the role blended creative work, performance analytics, and full team operations across two competitive seasons.

Creative Contributions

I flexed my creative abilities in this role, outshining the content being put out by the athletics department for other teams.

  • Social media design and digital marketing assets

  • Matchday graphics and program materials

  • Custom kit design for the men’s soccer program

  • Game day and travel video content in the go

Designed official game jerseys worn across multiple seasons, contributing to the visual identity of a Division I NCAA program.

Operational Scope

My operational responsibilities for the team were critical to the teams success. We won the Sun Belt Conference and made it to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Men’s Soccer Tournament. We created a positive but intense program to train players for the professional game. Many of our players had successful careers, one even playing in the Champions League. My duties included:

  • GPS performance tracking and data analysis

  • Training and matchday equipment management

  • Travel coordination including hotels, transportation, and meals

  • Game day logistics and staff support

Collected and analyzed player performance data, presenting insights to coaching staff to inform tactical decisions.

The role required daily collaboration within the coaching office, full travel with the team, and consistent operational oversight across the season.
